What To Do When The Blogger's Block Hit You

Debbie points to an article about blogger's block.

Debbie gives some good pieces of advice herself in the story. Keeping it short and simple is one of them: A link, your comment about it and you're done.

I like to add that you also could take time-outs, if you need it. Especially if you explain why nothing new is published for a week or two (a business trip, negotiations about a new deal, your family wants to see you etc.). As long as you don't let that happen to often, I think it's ok. As your reader I would accept and understand, and if I subscribe to your feed it's no practical problem either. When you're back I'll know it.

In general terms I also recommend frequent updates. But I'd rather have two or three really good posts (short or long) per week from you, than two or three per day that doesn't mean anything to me.
