Blogs And Corporate Change Management

The Fractional CIO: Blogging Your Way Through Corporate Change Management: The best way to manage change is by being proactive in communicating about what's going to happen, when is it going to happen, how will it affect people, etc. So the client and the rest of the team (some of whom are bloggers themselves) suggested setting up a blog to support communication with the users and in effect create a resource for learning about the upgrade and finding resources to help through the change.

  • A blog is familiar and easy to use.
  • Blogs help people feel they are not alone.
  • Blogs are focused on the audience but centered on the blogger.
  • A blog can put a real face on change.
  • A blog is simple and inexpensive to launch and efficient to manage.
  • A blog is persistent.
