Apple's Student Blog

Apple har started a student weblog. This morning there's only three posts - including the welcome post - so it is a bit early to judge it.

The blog has alreay been critized. Echoditto is a little confused: "There isn't any commenting or trackbacks. It's not a blog. It's pure marketing."

Well, as I said, it's a bit early to say. It may turn out to be more marketing than authentic blog postings. I strongly disagree, though, that this has anything to do with commenting or trackbacks. That's just details. You can have those functions even if your site is not a blog, like CNET, and you can write a genuine blog without them.
